standard functionality
map:
- Choose an area: nation, state, metropolitan area or suburb.
- Choose your zoom range - you can limit how far in and out the user can go on the map area
- Choose the default display type for your area: map, satellite or hybrid
- Choose the page template aspect ratio: horizontal or vertical
Please note:
- Users can place points anywhere so they may not be visible initially if they are not within the default display zone.
- If you require multiple areas or regions, each new map requires a separate PulseRate implementation per the PulseRate pricing document attached.
categories:
Name up to 5 categories to organize and display your content: e.g. photo, video, review, attraction, business, etc…
Please note that each additional category over 5 is considered to be customized functionality and usually requires a further 1 hour of programming.
add your marker/photo/item form:
- Set location on map (drag marker to point on map)
- Select file to display (photo/video/logo)
- Name
- Email
- Phone
- Category
- Tags – for “tag cloud” (another way users can group the content which is being displayed)
- Caption/comment
social media feeds:
- Facebook – wall posts and/or status updates from your Facebook page
- Twitter – your brand tweets and tweets about any tagged (#hashtagged) keyword you choose. The Twitter feed works by either displaying a single users profile post or by displaying search results for a word or series of words

social media integration via “share this”:
Social media sites are a great way to promote your site. All markers/content on the site can have a link for you and/or your website users to share content from PulseRate on Facebook, Twitter and a range of other social media sites.
help or faq page:
A page for your website users that explains how to use PulseRate.
about page:
A single web page with copy that you provide about your company and/or what the aim of your PulseRate site is.
contact page:
A single web page with a list of contact details, a brief standard contact form for your company and/or brand.
tag cloud:
Another way for users to sort the content which is displayed on the map. (requires users to add tags to the content when adding the marker. When a user clicks on a certain tag all the markers which have that term associated with it will display on
the map.
campaigns:
A simple single page feed that you can use to publish a current promotion. Can also be used for “Latest News” style content.
google analytics:
A website usage statistics package provide for free by Google will be set-up so you can easily monitor and report on traffic to and activity on your PulseRate site.
