kangaroo island
ki.deadline.net.au is a great example of why the product was conceived. PulseRate was originally designed to replace the age old "Visitors Book" and location guide with cutting edge social media.
Through traditional advertising campaigns such as signage on the Kangaroo Island ferry, radio and print, tourists that travel to Kangaroo Island were encouraged to share their reviews, photos and videos via PulseRate.
The tourism operators themselves, such as the owner of the quaint little Bed and Breakfast, or the Manager of the local Cellar Door could also promote their offering by uploading media of their choice.
This site became the facilitator of this social media driven conversation between customer and supplier, tourist and tourism operator.
Site is no longer being used by Sealink

defence teaming centre
As at mid-May 2010 Deadline Media completed the redevelopment the Defence Teaming Centre’s website at www.dtc.org.au
The new DTC website includes an implementation of PulseRate that serves as a directory of the DTC membership and assists in facilitating the online conversation about South Australia’s vibrant and rapidly growing Defence Industry.
This is an excellent example of a business to business application for PulseRate and includes a LinkedIn feature along with a different interface and navigation template. Also note how the member contributed content can be displayed by industry sector, instead of content type.
